Ace Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has opened up on the staggering cost of managing his health, revealing that his medical bills in the past six months are equivalent to the price of two Mercedes-Benz GLE SUVs and a C300.
Omori, who has been battling kidney disease, took to social media to share his struggles, describing the burden of dialysis as both financially draining and heartbreaking for many Nigerians.
“Health is truly wealth,” he wrote.
“My six months’ health expenses equals two GLEs and a small C300.
“Dialysis costs over ₦100,000 per session, and sometimes you need three sessions in a week. Minimum wage is ₦70,000.
“Thinking of this reality brought me to tears in the hospital because there’s no hope for the common man.”
The award-winning cinematographer further disclosed that he is working on launching his first major eyewear line, with plans to channel part of the proceeds into supporting kidney disease patients who cannot afford dialysis.
