‘They’re intoxicated’: Wike taunts PDP over expulsion

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has berated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership over his expulsion by the party.

The PDP announced Wike’s expulsion at its national convention in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, citing alleged anti-party activities.

Reacting, the minister said the PDP leaders gathered in Ibadan to do a social party, adding that the party’s chieftains took decisions while intoxicated.
