TIBA opens nominations for 2026 Excellence Awards

The Iconic Brand Africa (TIBA) has opened nominations for the 2026 edition of its Excellence Awards, with the organisers set to honour outstanding individuals and organisations across various sectors.

The eighth edition of the awards is scheduled for November 14, 2026, at The Zone, Gbagada, Lagos, under the theme, “Positioning for Influence, Leadership & Business Growth.”

According to TIBA, the annual awards have recognised more than 800 leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and organisations since their inception.

This year’s edition features 25 award categories covering areas including entrepreneurship, leadership, personal branding, business, arts, academic research, media, public relations, technology, healthcare, finance, law, sales and marketing.

Some of the categories include Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year, Outstanding CEO/Founder of the Year, Social Impact Award of the Year, Edu-Influencer of the Year, Leadership Award of the Year and Outstanding Corporate Brand of the Year.

Other categories recognise outstanding professionals in media and public relations, research innovation and impact, branding and communication, finance, human resources, law, technology, healthcare and public service.

The founder of TIBA, Mrs Adeola Osideko, said the awards were designed to identify and celebrate individuals and organisations whose contributions were making a difference across Africa.

She said, “The people and organisations shaping Africa’s future are not always the loudest in the room. Sometimes, their impact is seen in the businesses they build, the people they influence, the problems they solve and the standards they set in their industries.”

Osideko added that the awards were intended to give deserving individuals and organisations greater recognition while inspiring others to pursue excellence.

TIBA said the awards and conference also provide a platform for discussions on leadership, influence and business growth.

Individuals, organisations, professional networks and members of the public can nominate candidates who have demonstrated outstanding performance, leadership, innovation or measurable impact in their respective fields.

The nomination window closes on August 31, 2026.
