President Bola Tinubu will embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday to inaugurate key projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.
According to a State House statement, the President is expected to commission several development initiatives completed by the state government as part of efforts to boost infrastructure and improve public services.
During the visit, Tinubu will also serve as the special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, one of Africa’s most prominent cultural celebrations.
The festival, held along the historic Matan Fada riverside, showcases traditional fishing competitions and cultural displays.
It has earned global recognition from UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
