President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with former governors Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna) and Nyesom Wike (Rivers) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The former governors, who are ministerial nominees, arrived separately at the State House on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
The details of the meeting have yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

Both Wike and El-Rufai have been screened by the Senate.

Wike has however been confirmed, while El-Rufai is yet to be confirmed by the Senate over an alleged security report.
