President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday joined Muslim faithful to observe Eid al-Adha prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos.
The President was accompanied by key government officials and political figures, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; and Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, among others.
The development was disclosed by the President’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, in a post on X, noting that Tinubu joined other Muslim faithful to mark the religious celebration.
The Eid prayers, observed across Nigeria and globally, mark one of the most significant events in the Islamic calendar, symbolising sacrifice, devotion, and unity among Muslims.
