President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following his visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil.

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga disclosed the president’s return to the nation’s capital on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja today after his two-nation visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil,” Onanuga wrote on X.

Tinubu’s visit commenced on June 28 when the president departed Abuja for Saint Lucia.

During his four-day stay, he held meetings with Governor‑General Cyril Charles and Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre.

Tinubu also addressed a special joint sitting of the Saint Lucian Parliament and signed a Technical Manpower Assistance agreement designed to send Nigerian professionals – including teachers, doctors, and engineers – to support capacity‑building efforts in Saint Lucia and other OECS member states.

From Saint Lucia, the president proceeded to Brazil to participate at the 17th BRICS Summit on July 5–7.
