President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending 19 days in Europe.
Tinubu, who left Nigeria on April 2, 2025, was received on arrival at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 9:50 p.m. on Monday, April 21, by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and other senior government officials.

The president departed Nigeria on April 2 for Paris, the capital of France, where he held a meeting with the U.S. Department of State’s Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos.

The discussion focused on deepening bilateral cooperation to enhance regional security and sustainable economic development across Africa.

After his engagements in Paris, Tinubu proceeded to London, the United Kingdom, where the Presidency said he continued consultations and maintained regular communication with senior government officials in Abuja.
