Tinubu had departed Abuja for France on Monday for what the presidency described as a “brief work stay”.
Though the presidency did not state the duration of Tinubu’s visit, a statement signed by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed that “the President will return to the country after his brief work stay in France”.
Ngelale, in a statement on Thursday conveying Tinubu’s appreciation to the outgoing CJN, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, noted that the president will swear in Justice Kekere-Ekun at the State House Council Chambers on Friday, August 23.
