Tinubu visits Ogun monarchs

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Ogun State for a meeting with some monarchs in the state.

Tinubu, who landed at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode area of Ogun State at exactly 10.17 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, is expected to meet the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona.

The president is also expected to have a separate meeting with the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, in his palace in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

He was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; and the Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategies, Dele Alake.

President Tinubu was received by Governor Dapo Abiodun, Olusegun Osoba; and other supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Tinubu’s last visit to Ogun State was in January 2023 during his presidential campaign in the state.
