Premier League side Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Egypt forward Omar Marmoush from Manchester City.

Tottenham agreed an initial loan for Marmoush, with a £50 million buy clause that becomes mandatory under certain conditions.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed on Sunday that the 27-year-old forward will have a medical on Monday after agreeing to the move to north London days ago.

Romano wrote on X: “Tottenham reach verbal agreement with Man City to sign Omar Marmoush, here we go!

“Verbal agreement done on initial loan with buy clause to become mandatory under certain conditions at £50m.

“Marmoush said yes to #THFC days ago, travel and medical on Monday.

Marmoush was an unused substitute in City’s dramatic late 2-1 home win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Marmoush’s City team-mate Savinho was left out of the squad after an £85 million deal was agreed with Spurs.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are seeking forward reinforcements after being easily beaten 3-0 in their Premier League opener at Brentford on Saturday.
