Transfer: Brentford reject Man Utd’s bid for Mbeumo as Delap takes Chelsea No. 9 shirt

Brentford have rejected Manchester United’s opening bid of £55 million for Bryan Mbeumo.

Brentford value Mbeumo, 25, in excess of £60 million and negotiations are continuing.

Manchester United’s Antony is one of a number of forwards Bayer Leverkusen are looking at should Florian Wirtz leave.

Leverkusen boss Erik ten Hag was in charge of United when Antony joined for over £80 million in 2022.

Arsenal have confirmed that Nuno Tavares has joined Lazio on a permanent deal.

The left-back moved to the Serie A club last summer on a loan with an obligation to buy

Liverpool have rejected approach from Barcelona for Luis Diaz, Sky Sports reported.

Transfer: Man City agree £46.3m deal for Reijnders as Sancho leaves Chelsea

Barcelona have a long-standing interest in the 28-year-old forward, who has also been on the radar of Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. Diaz still has two years left on his contract.

Cole Palmer has been handed the No 10 shirt at Chelsea next season.

The England international previously wore the No 20 but will take the number previously worn by Mykhailo Mudryk, who has been left without a number.

Meanwhile, new signing Liam Delap has been given the No 9 shirt, which is said to be a ‘cursed’ number among the fanbase, due to players not reaching their potential at the club with that number on their backs.

Liverpool are hoping to finalise a deal to sign Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in the coming days.
