Inter Milan are in talks to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

After reaching an agreement in principle with the Nigeria international, Inter are now seeking an agreement with his club.

Atalanta, who won the Europa League in 2024 with Lookman the hat-trick hero in the final, is asking for at least £43 million (€50m) to release him.

But Inter are confident in a promise made to the player’s entourage last summer that he can go for £34.6 million (€40m). Inter would take him on these terms and, in fact, will not raise their offer, Sky Sports reported.

If a deal cannot be done, the alternatives Inter Milan would look at are Juventus’s Nico Gonzalez, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, and Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku.
