Troops arrest 15 drug peddlers in Jos raid

Troops of Sector 1, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), have arrested 15 suspected illicit drug peddlers during a raid on a suspected drug hideout in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Security sources said the operation was carried out at about 6 p.m. on October 3, 2026, in the Congo Russia area of Jos North.

The troops reportedly raided the identified hideout and arrested the 15 suspects, who were subsequently profiled for further investigation and necessary action.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts by security forces under Operation Enduring Peace to curb drug-related activities and disrupt criminal networks in Plateau State.
