Troops destroy notorious bandit’s camp in Kaduna forest

The troops of Operation Forest Sanity have destroyed the camp of a notorious bandit, Lawal Kwalba, in Rafin Dawa, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The troops after destroying the bandit’s camp recovered some batteries and 27 bags of fertilizer.

This was disclosed via a statement issued and made available to The Star on Thursday by the Kaduna State Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

Aruwan stated that the materials recovered by the troops indicated likely plans to manufacture Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), considering the bandits’ close alliance with terrorists.
