Troops kill 3 bandits in Plateau, recover police ID card

The troops of the Nigerian Army deployed to quell the crisis in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State have neutralised no fewer than three bandits in the area.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, made this known in a statement on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Nwachukwu said the troops obliterated the bandits when they gallantly fought through an ambush staged by the gunmen, after responding to a distress call in the Mangu area.
