Nigerian Army troops of Operation HDIN KAI, supported by Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) operatives, have uncovered a substantial logistics cache believed to belong to Boko Haram terrorists along the Damasak–Kareto road in northern Borno State.
The discovery was made at approximately 11:15 a.m. on 21 November 2025 during a routine patrol along a supply route frequently used by insurgents. The abandoned cache was found at Mamu Goni Bukarti, a hotspot for terrorist movement and supply activities.
Recovered items include blankets, cooking pots, engine and gear oils, welding electrodes, cutting wheels, zinc nails, oil treatment products, fish hooks, rubber slippers, tricycle rims, a grinding machine engine, vegetable oil containers, assorted nails, shovels, baby mattresses and clothing, fan belts, plate sets, towels, rolls of fabric, and a weighing scale.
All materials are now in the custody of the troops for further investigation and appropriate action.
