A truck has run into a residential compound in Okete Village, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State and killed nine members of a family.
The Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Sewuese Anene, confirmed the incident on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Anene disclosed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
Truck kills pedestrian in Lagos
The police spokesperson said the command has launched a full investigation into the incident.
Anene added that further information would be made available to newsmen.
