Two trucks, car crash on Lagos expressway

A multiple-vehicle crash involving two articulated trucks and a private car disrupted traffic along the Gbagada Expressway in Lagos on Monday.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority confirmed that the accident occurred near TREM inward Gbagada and said emergency responders were immediately deployed to the scene.

In a traffic update shared on its official X handle, the agency said recovery operations were ongoing to clear the affected vehicles and restore normal traffic flow.

LASTMA disclosed that a tow truck had been mobilised to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

The agency also deployed its Rescue and Recovery Unit to coordinate vehicle evacuation and manage traffic around the crash site.

Motorists were advised to drive cautiously and expect delays while emergency teams continue recovery efforts.
