U.S. flamboyant pastor robbed of $1m jewelry during sermon

A flamboyant pastor based in Brooklyn, United States, Lamor Miller-Whitehead, has been robbed of jewelry worth more than $1 million while preaching at the church last Sunday.

It was gathered that the pastor was robbed alongside his wife at the Leaders of Tomorrow church.

According to CNN, police said they received a report that three people entered the church on Sunday with firearms and removed the jewelry Pastor Miller-Whitehead and his wife were wearing.

A video which captured part of the incident showed one of the perpetrators holding a gun on the pastor and interrupting his sermon.

“All right, all right, all right,” Whitehead said in the video, as he raised his hands and lowered himself to the floor.

Miller-Whitehead, in an Instagram video posted on Monday, said: “I want justice, I want these men arrested.

“I know somebody knows something and I want to make sure that you all know that I’m invested into this.”

The pastor added that the security system inside the church would change, noting that he has planned to hire a therapist for the church to talk to members and children on how to cope with such incidents.

Whitehead was also said to have offered a $50,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the robbers.
