Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has represented Nigeria at the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he presented Kaduna’s success story in governance, innovation, and sustainable urban growth.

The summit, themed “Collaborate. Inspire. Transform.”, brought together over 150 mayors, governors, and more than 300 city leaders from across Asia, the Pacific, Europe, and Africa. The global gathering focused on driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusive urban development.

In his presentation titled “Building Partnerships for Shared Prosperity,” Governor Sani highlighted Kaduna’s strides in urban renewal, agricultural transformation, and social protection, emphasizing that his administration’s vision is anchored on expanding opportunities, protecting the vulnerable, and empowering citizens to thrive.

“Our development philosophy rests on a simple but powerful conviction — that government exists to expand opportunity, protect the vulnerable, and empower every citizen to thrive,” Sani stated.

The governor also featured on Expo City Dubai’s flagship podcast, where he discussed “Transforming Northern Nigeria: Leadership, Innovation and Social Impact.” He underscored the importance of leadership and technology-driven governance as key tools for unlocking the potential of Nigerian cities.
