UCL: Fans clash in Turkey ahead of Galatasaray-Bayern match

A street fight has broken out between locals and visiting German fans in Istanbul, Turkey, ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League match between Galatasaray and Bayern Munich.

It was gathered that no fewer than five people were injured, four of them German, when the two groups clashed in Beyoglu, Turkey, on Monday evening.

Footage from private news agency Demiroren showed the sides throwing chairs and bottles at each other before police cars intervened, on the popular Istiklal shopping avenue.
