A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Prof. Wahab Egbewole, has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).
He emerged after screening of 13 professors.
Egbewole, a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence, will take over from Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem on October 15th when his tenure expires.
The institution’s Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Mallam Abidu Yasid, made the announcement on Thursday at a press briefing held at the Council Chamber of the University.
