Some shops at the Apongbon Under Bridge Market in Lagos have been gutted by fire.
It was gathered that the fire outbreak occurred in the early hours of Wednesday.
It was further learned that some vehicles parked under the bridge were also gutted by the fire which has enveloped a large section of the bridge.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently battling the inferno under the Apongbon Bridge on Lagos Island, while the officials of the Federal and Lagos State Fire Service are currently at the market trying to put out the fire.
The details of the fire outbreak and its cause could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
