Scores of motorists and passengers were stuck in traffic after a stone-laden truck fell on the bridge in the Berger area of Lagos State.
The incident which occurred at Berger inward Otedola bridge in the early hours of Wednesday, September 3, 2025, was confirmed by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
LASTMA, in a post on X, disclosed that the accident caused severe traffic on the bridge.
The agency wrote: “A fallen tipper loaded with stone at Berger, Infront of BRT park inward Otedola, it’s currently affecting traffic backwards Kara.
“A tow truck is expected to arrive soon for its recovery and our personnel are firmly at the location for effective traffic control.

“Patience is required from the road users.”
LASTMA, in another post, said the fallen truck has been recovered, adding that the highway has been fully opened for vehicular movement.
