VIDEO: How indecent dress denied me entry into passport office ― Simi

Popular Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, well known as Simi, says she was denied entry into the passport office for indecent dress.

Simi, in a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, June 8, disclosed that she was not allowed to go into the passport office because she was indecently dressed.

The mother of one added that she had to remove her nosering and earring and cover her body with a scarf before she was allowed to go in.

She said: “I went to the passport office to get my passport done and when I reached the gate, they said I should go back because I am indecently dressed.

“I look myself up to down, and asked can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see but I should go back and wear something more down.

“I had to take out my nosering, earring, and had to cover my chest with a little scarf. I was also asked to sing for them.”

Simi married famous singer, Adekunle Gold, in a private wedding ceremony on January 9, 2019.

It was later revealed that they had been dating for five years.

The 35-year-old singer became a mother for the first time on May 30, 2020, when she gave birth to her daughter, Adejare.
