VIDEO: Lagos socialite stopped from jumping into Lagoon over failed marriage

Lagos socialite and owner of House of Phreedah, Farida Abdulkabir, has been rescued at the Third Mainland Bridge while attempting to commit suicide.

It was gathered that the beautiful entrepreneur attempted suicide on Thursday, August 17, 2023, over the abrupt end of her marriage in two months.

Abdulkabir, whose beauty lounge is located at Akerele Street, Surulere, Lagos, married another Lagos socialite, Demola Okulaja, in an elaborate ceremony about two months ago.

Okulaja was said to have later packed out of the house following a series of domestic violence between them.

The situation led to both of them giving out family secrets on social media, attacking and calling themselves unprintable names.
