VIDEO: Okonjo-Iweala dances at son’s wedding in Germany

A video showing the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, dancing at the wedding ceremony of her first son, Dr Uzo Iweala, has surfaced online.

Iweala married his partner, Lotte Elsa, in Heidelberg, Germany, on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Okonjo-Iweala, in the video shared by the aunt to the groom, Njide Udochi, was seen dancing to Nigerian songs with her new daughter-in-law.

Udochi, who shared the video on her Facebook page, wrote: “As Nigerians and Ndigbo, there is no marriage unless we as a community celebrate our traditional marriage rites, Igba Nkwu Nwanyi. So, in Heidelberg, Germany, we married our wife.
