A violent confrontation between comedian Mr Jollof and controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan erupted aboard a commercial flight, with both men seen trading blows in a now-viral video.
In the footage, the pair — who appeared to be co-passengers — engaged in a heated fistfight as shocked travellers rushed to separate them. Voices can be heard in the background pleading urgently with the two men to stop.
The mid-air clash marks a dramatic escalation in a feud that has been brewing since 2024.
The dispute began after VeryDarkMan accused Mr Jollof’s wife, Esinjemiyotan, of using inappropriate means to secure her husband’s appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New Media to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

He also alleged that she had an affair with an internet fraudster at a hotel in Delta — claims that triggered a N500 million defamation suit filed by Esinjemiyotan.
In her suit, she demanded that the activist publish public apologies in at least two national newspapers and across all his social media platforms.
She also sought a court order restraining VeryDarkMan from making any additional defamatory remarks about her, either personally or through proxies.
