WhatsApp users to access account on multiple phones

Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has declared that WhatsApp users can now access their accounts on as many as four phones.

Zuckerberg made the declaration via a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, April 25.

“Starting today, you can log into the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones,” the CEO of Meta, which is the parent company of WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram, stated.

The new feature will be useful for people who have both a personal and a work phone, as they will be able to use the same WhatsApp account on both devices.

While the feature has been long available, known as multi-device, it only allowed users to access WhatsApp from browsers, computers, or Android tablets alongside their primary phone.

The feature will be available on both WhatsApp for Android and iOS.
