Why I chose N500k over N15m restaurant promo offer — Carter Efe

Nigerian content creator and comedian Carter Efe has turned down a lucrative ₦15 million monthly offer from a female fan who wanted him to promote her Lagos-based restaurant.

During a recent TikTok livestream, Carter Efe invited the fan — known for consistently sending him generous gifts — to speak.

When he asked what he could do for her in return for her support, she surprised him with an offer to supply free meals for him and his crew and pay him ₦15 million every month to promote her food business.

However, the skit maker declined the hefty sum, saying he couldn’t accept that much from someone who genuinely supports him. Instead, he asked her to pay just ₦500,000 for the promotion.

His response left the fan visibly excited and grateful, with many viewers praising Carter Efe for choosing appreciation and fairness over a massive payday, noting that not many influencers would have made the same decision.
