Why I’ll never commit to woman again — Frank Edoho

Nigerian television host Frank Edoho has declared that he will never again commit to a single woman, following the collapse of his two marriages.

Edoho, best known as the former host of the Nigerian edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, made the disclosure on his X page in response to a user who asked if he was single.

“Yes. I have had my share. Never getting committed again. Ever,” he wrote.

In a follow-up post, the broadcaster offered a pointed commentary on marital infidelity, arguing that men who forgive cheating partners often invite further disrespect.

“If a wife cheats and she asks her husband to forgive her and he does — she will not only continue cheating but she will also resent the man for forgiving her and disrespect him in extreme ways until he gets the ultimate message — she checked out of the marriage way before she cheated,” he wrote.

Edoho was first married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang. The union, which produced three children, lasted seven years before ending in 2010.

He remarried in 2013, wedding Sandra Onyenuchenuya, with whom he had two children in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

Last year, Edoho disclosed that his second marriage had ended in December 2022, describing the experience as “devastating.”
