Wike appoints 14,000 advisers

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has appointed 14,000 advisers for various political units in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the governor’s Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri.

Governor Wike said the advisers will play a vital role in the administration, adding that the appointments were with immediate effect.

In addition to the 14,000 advisers, the governor also appointed 319 Ward Liaison Officers and 40 Local Government Area Liaison Officers.
