The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Michael Ango.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
According to the statement, the most senior official in the FCT-IRS has been directed to immediately assume leadership of the agency and ensure continuity in its operations.
The statement did not disclose the reason for Ango’s removal.
