Spain duo Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro trained separately from their teammates on Thursday, three days before the 2026 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina.
The pair are being carefully managed after picking up minor fitness concerns following Spain’s 2-0 semi-final victory over France, although both are expected to be available for Sunday’s final.
Yamal was seen wearing a bandage on his left thigh after the semi-final and appeared to experience some discomfort, while Porro is recovering from muscle fatigue.
During Thursday’s training session at Spain’s base in Whippany, New Jersey, both players took part in the warm-up before breaking away from the main group to complete individual recovery exercises instead of the more demanding drills.
The Spanish Football Federation remains confident that Yamal and Porro will return to full training on Friday, with no major concerns over their availability for the final.

Spain will face Argentina at MetLife Stadium on Sunday as they bid to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup title.
