“No evidence, you go explain tire”, a saying popularised by Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, fondly called Burna Boy, has appeared in an examination question at the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State.
The saying recently became popular after Burna Burna made the statement in an Instagram live session with fans.
The singer said: “If you no make am, no evidence say you try your best. You go dey explain tire.

“You go explain explain explain because no evidence say you try your best if you no make am.”
However, the saying appeared in an examination written by 400-level students of the Department of History and International Studies in the university on Monday, August 21, 2023.
A copy of the examination question paper shared by UNIUYO InfoPress on its Facebook page read: “How is the nature of history demonstrated in the trending cliche of Nigeria’s music icon, Burna Boy, that: ‘no evidence, you go explain tire’?”
