Zion Ministry to hold 2026 international crusade in Imo

The Zion Prayer Movement Outreach is set to hold its 2026 World Conference at Zion City, the permanent site of the ministry in Mgbichi, Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

The three-day international crusade will commence on Friday, August 21, and end on Sunday, August 23, 2026, according to a statement issued by the ministry in Lagos on Friday.

The annual World Conference is the largest gathering organised by the ministry and attracts worshippers and participants from Nigeria, other African countries, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

The 2026 edition will be the third time the conference is being held outside Lagos and will mark the conclusion of the ministry’s 100 Days Fasting and Prayer programme, which began in May.

The ministry said hundreds of thousands of worshippers, pilgrims, clergy, volunteers and other participants are expected to attend the conference.

The 100 Days Fasting and Prayer is one of the ministry’s major annual spiritual programmes, featuring prayer, fasting, worship, biblical reflection, thanksgiving and fellowship.

Speaking ahead of the conference, the Spiritual Director of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, said the event was expected to produce numerous testimonies and spiritual experiences.

According to Obi, the crusade is expected to witness the conversion of thousands of people to Christianity, as well as miracles, healing, deliverance and salvation.

The conference will also serve as the final gathering of participants following the 100-day spiritual programme.
