The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Zulum, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled 545,542 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mohammed Jajari of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 82,147 votes.
