The North-East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.
The endorsement was announced on Sunday during the North-East APC Consultative Meeting held in Gombe, the capital of Gombe State.
The event drew a large turnout of party faithful, including key political figures such as Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, and Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya.
Also in attendance were APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Deputy National Chairman Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, and other senior party officials.

In a joint statement, the forum praised the Tinubu/Shettima administration for what it described as transformative achievements under the “Renewed Hope” agenda.
They highlighted progress in sectors such as health, education, youth and women empowerment, revenue generation, and national development.
Zulum, while addressing attendees, commended the leadership for what he termed significant improvements in the lives of Nigerians within just two years of governance. He urged citizens across the country to support the Tinubu/Shettima ticket, describing it as a symbol of unity, progress, and hope.
The endorsement signals early mobilization by the APC in the North-East ahead of the 2027 general elections.
