The finalists will undergo an online assessment and physical screening before the judges, where they will defend their entries and demonstrate their contributions to teaching and learning.

The overall winner and state champions will be announced at the grand finale scheduled for October 30, 2026, in Lagos.

Speaking on the announcement, Nigerian Breweries Plc’s Corporate Affairs Director, Uzodinma Odenigbo, commended the teachers for their dedication to the profession and their role in shaping future generations.

“The emergence of the top 10 finalists reflects the quality of talent and commitment within Nigeria’s teaching profession,” he said, adding that the organisers looked forward to celebrating educators whose work transforms lives and inspires future generations.

The 2026 edition marks the 12th year of the competition, which recognises outstanding teachers and celebrates their contributions to education in Nigeria.
