The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has again met with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde.
The meeting between Obi and Wike was disclosed via a tweet shared on the governor’s Twitter handle on Friday.
“It was nice hosting my brother, Peter Obi once again,” Wike tweeted.
The LP presidential candidate, who had in August met with Wike at the governor’s residence in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, disclosed his meeting with Makinde via his verified Twitter handle on Friday.
The former governor of Anambra State wrote: “I was at Ibadan, and I visited my brother and friend, Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State as part of my consultations ahead of the 2023 general election. We had very frank and constructive discussions.”
