2023: APC announces dates for Reps, Assembly primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the party’s governorship and state Houses of Assembly primaries would hold on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

The APC also stated that the party’s senatorial and House of Representatives primaries would hold on Friday, May 27, and May 28, 2022, respectively.

The ruling party made this known via a statement issued and made available to The Star on Monday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka.

Morka noted that the Special Convention for the APC presidential primary election would be held on Sunday, May 29, and May 30, 2022.

The APC spokesperson stated the approved schedule as follows:

*Thursday, 26th of May, 2022

Governorship – (State Delegates)

State House of Assembly – (LGA Delegates)

*Friday, 27th of May, 2022

Senate – (LGA Delegates)

*Saturday, 28th of May, 2022

House of Representatives – (LGA Delegates)
