The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is currently meeting with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abuja.
Atiku disclosed this via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The former Vice President, who was accompanied by his running mate and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, said the visit was to consult widely with all the critical stakeholders in the country as part of his moves to “recover Nigeria”.

The PDP presidential flag-bearer, who also shared pictures from the meeting, stated: “To recover Nigeria, we need to consult widely with all the critical stakeholders in our country. I am at the Ecumenical Centre in Abuja for my interactive session with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). It promises to be a robust and fulfilling conversation.”
Also announcing the meeting via his Twitter account, the PDP vice-presidential candidate said: “That we may all be one. I thank the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria for the warm reception that we received at the ongoing interactive session with our presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and I.”
