The Bayelsa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Thursday, May 5 host the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, in the state.
This was made known via a statement issued and made available to The Star on Wednesday by the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Doifie Buokoribo.
The statement was titled, ‘Bayelsa APC hosts Vice President Osinbajo’.
Buokoribo stated that Osinbajo, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the APC, would be in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital to meet with members of the party in the state as part of his consultations ahead of the party’s primaries scheduled for the end of May.
“On arrival at the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa, he will drive straight to the Secretariat of the Traditional Rulers Council to parley with members of the council.

“From there, he will proceed to the State Secretariat of the APC on Mbiama-Yenagoa Road for a meeting with the State Executive Committee,” he noted.
He added that the Vice President would round off his visit to the state with a meeting with all national delegates of the Bayelsa State chapter of the APC at Golden Tulip Hotel, Government House, Yenagoa.
“Chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Dennis Otiotio, advises all National Delegates to be seated at the hotel by 11:00 am,” Buokoribo added.
