President Muhammadu Buhari has donated his campaign office used in the 2019 general election to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
This was disclosed via a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Bayo Onanuga, a copy of which was made available to The Star on Thursday.
Onanuga quoted a member of the House of Representatives and leader of the Tinubu Support Group, Hon. James Faleke, as saying that the office in the Central Area of Abuja is equipped with ICT data base, call centre, and furnishings.
Faleke stated that the donated office would become the Tinubu Campaign Headquarters, while other offices currently in existence would be changed to annexes.

The Buhari Campaign Office was the second building to be donated to the APC presidential candidate.
Governor Yahaya Bello had earlier donated his presidential campaign office to Tinubu.
The office was donated to the APC flag bearer days after he was elected at the convention in Abuja.
Tinubu had emerged as the winner of the APC presidential primary election held at Eagle Square, Abuja, between June 7 and 8, 2022.
The former Lagos State Governor garnered 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rivals, Rotimi Amaechi, and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who scored 316 and 235 votes respectively, while Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, got 152 votes.
