6 men rape teenager in Anambra

A 19-year-old girl has been gang-raped by six men in Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the teenager was raped after she was ambushed by six men during a visit to her mother’s residence in the Anam area of the state.

Narrating her ordeal, the survivor disclosed that she visited her maternal home in Oramaetiti in Anam and got ambushed by six men who took her to a room and took turns in raping her.

She said: “Despite my plea, they did not stop but continued having their sexual satisfaction while one of them was filming the act.

“On my way home, I was accosted by another set of boys who harassed me and forced me to pull my underwear and give to them, which I obeyed because they threatened to kill me.

“It was good Samaritan that later took me home to her parents after I narrated what happened to her.”

The mother of the rape survivor, who pleaded anonymity, said her daughter would be the third victim of the alleged rape suspects in the area.
