The Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State has remanded the medical doctor of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr Olufemi Olaleye, for allegedly defiling his wife’s niece.
The court, on Wednesday, remanded the 57-year-old doctor after he took his plea on a two-count charge bordering on the defilement of a child and sexual assault by penetration preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.
Justice Ramon Oshodi ordered that the defendant be remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Centre pending the perfection of his bail.
Dr. Oleleye is charged with a two-count charge of defilement and sexual assault by penetration.
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
