The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, says he has lost confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the conduct of the 2023 general election.
Atiku expressed his feelings at his Ajiya 012 polling unit, Yola, Adamawa, when he and his wife Titi, cast their votes in the governorship and state House of Assembly elections on Saturday.
The former Vice President said he was skeptical and expected nothing positive from the outcome of the elections, stressing that INEC “refused” to improve on the earlier hitches recorded during the February 25 presidential election.
He, however, called on Nigerians to come out en masse to vote for the candidates of their choice, adding: “We pray for the best in this nation.”
Atiku cast his vote at about 11:35 a.m.
