Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Friday, April 7 inaugurated Phase 1 of the Malali Neighborhood Market.
The market was built through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC) and Hammawa Centre Point Limited.

The new market, which is a component of the Kaduna Urban Renewal Programme, has 364 shops available for sale to the previous stall owners in the old decongested market as well as new interested buyers.

To enable small scale traders to own the shops, KSDPC has concluded arrangements for buyers to pay for the shops instalmentally over a period of seven years.
Governor El-Rufai was accompanied to the event by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe and other top government officials.
