Sammy West, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been released on bail after spending four days in police custody.
His release was announced via a video shared on Instagram on Monday, November 10, 2025.
His detention comes amid the marital crisis between Regina and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Regina earlier accused her husband of domestic abuse and other forms of mistreatment.
Reacting, Nwoko alleged that the actress’s family and friends were undermining her rehabilitation efforts.
Regina later accused the senator of ordering the police to arrest Sammy West over alleged offences including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
